The latest Shrine Pilgrimage took place at the Shrine of St. Jude Thaddeus in Livingston! Thank you pilgrims who visited and got their passports stamped!

The journey continues! The next stop is at the Shrine of Our Lady of Fatima in Laton from April 16 - 23, 2023.

A Night of Sacred Music

The Visalia Community Chorus and College of the Sequoias Concert Choir will be performing Duruflé Requiem Mass at St. Charles Borromeo Church in Visalia.

Completion of the PDDM Rosary-Via Crucis Garden

You're invited!

The PDDM Sisters in Fresno invite you to the Living Rosary Celebration and Candlelight "Via Crucis" to celebrate the newly completed Rosary-Via Crucis Garden!

The Living Rosary Celebration will take place on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at 6:00pm and the Candlelight Via Crucis will be on Good Friday, April 7th at 7:00pm.

We hope to see you there in celebration and prayer!

The Spirituality of Holy Week

Holy Week is nearly upon us. It is a time to devote oneself to prayer and reflection on how Jesus Christ decides to take our place and receive punishment to free us from sin. In addition, Holy Week is the ideal time for us to meditate on our actions and the changes we must make to get closer to God and fulfill His commandments. A time to nurture and rejuvenate our spirituality as we renew our commitment to Christ in the coming celebration of Easter Sunday.

Holy Week is the center of our spirituality because it precisely celebrates the paschal mystery of Christ, his saving passion, death and resurrection. Our faith would be meaningless, as St. Paul reminds us in 1 Corinthians 15-16, without the resurrection of Christ. It is worthwhile, then, to stop and analyze how our spirituality is and should be at this time and take advantage of what is offered to us.

A liturgical spirituality. The Church, mother, and teacher, nourishes our spirit and guides our faith through liturgical celebrations to make us understand and live the mystery of Christ.

A biblical spirituality. Nourished and centered on the Word of God, wisely and piously offered to the believer in the readings.
