Our Transitional Diaconate Ordination

Congratulations to our newly ordained Transitional Deacons, Scott Borba and Marco Ayala!

Bishop Brennan celebrated the Transitional Diaconate Ordination on Saturday, June 21st. In case you missed it, click here to watch the livestream!

They are assigned as Transitional Deacons to the following parishes:

Rev. Mr. Scott Borba to St. Peter Prince of the Apostles, Lemoore

The Catholic World Report analyzed the number of infant baptisms reported in the Official Catholic Directory (2024 edition) in the United States.

According to the Catholic World Reports' findings, it is reported that the Diocese of Fresno ranks #4 for the highest number of infant baptisms in the United States in 2024.

Blessing of Military Families

St. Ann, Ridgecrest

Did you know? St. Ann Church in Ridgecrest is located near the China Lake Naval Air Weapons Station. Military families from around the area comprise St. Ann's parish!

Recently, Fr. Santiago Iriarte, Pastor of St. Ann's, blessed the military families of the parish congregation in recognition of their service and sacrifice. Afterwards, the Catholic Ladies of the Church ministry put on a beautiful brunch for them!

Healing Retreat

Crime Survivors Ministry

Join the Crime Survivors Ministry for a Healing Retreat on Saturday, June 28th at St. John the Evangelist Parish Hall in Wasco from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

The retreat will be a day of reflection and healing for crime victims and survivors. A Healing Mass will be celebrated by Bishop Brennan during the retreat.
