Bishop Brennan will celebrate the Spanish Christmas Mass at St. John's Cathedral in Fresno on Thursday, December 25th at 9:00am.

Annual Grand Simbang Gabi

The Catholic Filipino Community kicked off their Grand Simbang Gabi on December 15th with Mass and traditional festivities!


Bishop Brennan regrets not attending due to unforeseen schedule conflicts. He looks forward to next year's Grand Simbang Gabi!

Bishop Brennan invites the Faithful

to the Closing Mass for the Jubilee Year

The Jubilee Year is coming to an end.


Valley Catholics are invited to attend a Solemn Mass for the Closing of the Jubilee Year celebrated by Bishop Brennan. 


The Mass will take place on Sunday, December 28th, the Feast of the Holy Family, at St. John's Cathedral in Fresno at 3:30pm.

The Serra Club of Fresno held their Annual Christmas Luncheon to give thanks to our Diocesan Seminarians and the communities' support for vocations.

The Knights of Columbus at St. Francis of Assisi's parish in Bakersfield are holding a Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser for Vocations! Join them in support of vocations to the priesthood on January 16, 2026!

"I Voted" Sticker Design Contest

Our Lady of Fatima School, Los Banos

The Merced County Elections Department held their first-ever "I Voted" Sticker Design Contest for children in 1st through 5th grade. One winner from each of the five supervisorial districts in Merced County was chosen.


Danica from Our Lady of Fatima School in Los Banos was the winner of District 5! Danica and the additional four winning students attended the Merced County Board of Supervisors meeting with their families and teacher in recognition of their achievement earlier this month.

Journey to Bethlehem

Our Lady of Miracles, Gustine

Our Lady of Miracles School in Gustine hosted their annual Journey to Bethlehem on December 13th.


The students took families and community members on a journey to the night of Jesus's birth. The school's choir provided the music and sang!

St. Brigid Parish celebrated a Rorate Caeli Mass in honor of our Blessed Virgin Mary on December 13th!


A Rorate Mass is a votive Mass for the Virgin Mary and is celebrated during the Advent season.



OLG and Christmas Celebration

St. Paul Catholic Newman Center, Fresno

The St. Paul Catholic Newman Center celebrated the Feast of OLG with a procession followed by a Mass and Reception.

The parish recently held their Religious Education Christmas Party! The Christmas party kicked off with a Nativity play and was shortly followed by a potluck dinner and a visit from Mr. and Mrs. Claus.

The Giving Tree

St. Ann's, Ridgecrest

The youth group at St. Ann's Church in Ridgecrest participated in the Giving Tree service project at the parish! The Giving Tree benefits their local Pregnancy Care Center.

Holy Spirit's Frassati Fellowship Young Adult Group is hosting their 4th Annual Young Adult Winter Gala!


All young adults (college age, 20s & 30s) are invited to attend. Tickets are $25 for 1, $40 for 2 and $20 each for groups if 5 or more.
