TipTap: Parish Digital Philanthropy Initiative

A New Giving Opportunity

This past month, the Diocese of Fresno had the privilege of hosting informational sessions with TipTap.

What began as an idea that grew some of its roots in our Diocese has grown into a meaningful initiative that is already making a positive impact across our Church.

We are not asking our parishes to change the way they facilitate collections. Rather, we are asking them to consider how much opportunity we may be missing by not meeting people where they are.

TipTap has given us a frictionless way to invite younger generations (and anyone who prefers digital payment methods), to participate in the life of our Church through tap to pay giving.

Our pilot parishes have experienced approximately a 20% increase in giving since implementing TipTap. Based on that success, we are now making TipTap and its products available to all 87 parishes across the Central Valley.

Last week, our Catholic schools kicked off the first week of school! Bishop Brennan and the Office of Catholic Education wish our Catholic school students a great start to the school year.
