Bishop Brennan invites the Faithful to the Transitional Diaconate Ordination

The Transitional Diaconate Ordination is THIS WEEKEND! Join Bishop Brennan and the Diocese of Fresno in celebrating our Ordinands, Seminarians Scott Borba and Marco Antonio Ayala on Saturday, June 21st at 10:30am at St. Charles Borromeo Church in Visalia.

The Solemnity of Corpus Christi

Bishop Brennan will celebrate the Corpus Christi Mass on Sunday, June 29th at St. Mary's Church in Delano beginning at 9:00 AM.

Following the Mass, will be a Eucharistic Procession to Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, Delano.

The Faithful can receive a plenary indulgence by attending the Coprus Christi Mass at St. Mary's Church, Delano and participating in the Procession with the Blessed Sacrament. For more details, please click the button below.

The Priesthood Ordination of

Deacon David Gutierrez, C.M.F. to the Claretian Order

The USA-Canada Province of the Missionary Sons of the Immaculate Heart of Mary invite you to the Priesthood Ordination of Deacon David Gutierrez, C.M.F.

Deacon David will be ordained as a priest to the Claretian Order and continue to serve within the Diocese. He is currently serving as the Director of Religious Education at the St. Paul Catholic Newman Center in Fresno.

Bishop Brennan will celebrate the Ordination of Deacon David on Saturday, June 21st at St. Anthony Mary Claret Church in Fresno beginning at 5:00pm.

Diaconate Aspirants Retreat

The Permanent Diaconate Office held a Diaconate Aspirants Retreat at the St. Anthony's Retreat Center in Three Rivers.

The retreat was led by Fr. Jorge Adrian Cruz for those who are discerning a call to become a permanent deacon.

Welcome, Sarah Mattos!

Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction

Sarah Mattos has joined the Office of Catholic Education as the Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction!

Sarah has a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction and over 17 years working with students across all grade levels. Recently, she has provided instructional support at both St. Anthony of Padua and Our Lady of Perpetual Help School in Clovis for students who need support and interventions in the classroom.

Sarah is a faith filled person who has a passion for helping faculty, students and families navigate through educational systems. Welcome to the Office of Catholic Education!
