The Catechetical Corner
Month of the Holy Rosary with our Students
The month of October is dedicated to the Most Holy Rosary. This is primarily due to the fact that the liturgical feast of Our Lady of the Rosary is celebrated annually on October 7th.
As catechists, we can incorporate the rosary in many ways in our faith sharing. When praying the rosary with children, you may be wondering if they will sit still or be distracted. The short answer is, yes, they might not be still, and, yes, small children may be distracted at times.
The following are some helpful tips to get started praying this powerful and beautiful devotion within teaching components of our lesson plans for this month of October with our students.
