Parade of 1,000 Flags

St. Ann School, Ridgecrest

St. Ann's School in Ridgecrest participated in the 5th Annual Parade of 1,000 Flags on Saturday, September 6th.


In memory of the lives lost during 9/11, community groups, schools and individuals from Ridgecrest carry flags through the town and place them in Freedom Park.


At the Parade of 1,000 Flags, St. Ann's School community fundraises for childhood cancer research through Alex's Lemonade Stand.

The Canonization of Blessed Carlo Acutis

The Blessed Carlo Acutis was canonized as the first millennial saint on Sunday, September 7th. Our parishes throughout the Diocese celebrated this special moment with their youth!

The youth group at St. Isidore the Farmer parish celebrated the canonization of Saint Carlo Acutis by learning about him and his work for the youth.

Young Adult Congress


The Young Adult Congress: Pilgrims of Hope took place on Saturday, September 6th!


Our young adults were honored to welcome special guests, RioSquad, a Catholic rap and Latin pop duo. Their music brought a vibrant and faith-filled energy to the gathering!


The keynote speakers were Angel Alatorre and Julio Oliva.


The congress also included Confessions, Mass and Holy Hour with Fr. Gonzalo Siller-Ramírez.
