Catholic Daughters Court St. John #2526 Celebrate Service
Farewell To Fr. Milton And A Happy Birthday To Sr. Rosalie
| | |
Court St. John #2526 were busy this past weekend. We surprised Sr. Rosalie, CCCL Magazine editor and active volunteer at St. John's Cathedral, with a monetary birthday gift. She hates surprises, but we pay her no mind. She deserves a little attention every now and then for all her hard work.
Sunday, August 28 was also Fr. Milton's last day at St. John's Cathedral. The Catholic Daughters along with members of the Guadalupanos and Genesis contributed to a cookies and punch reception for Fr. Milton on his last day.

Memorial Service For Aborted Children At The Shrine Of Our Lady Of Guadalupe,
Co-patroness Of The Unborn, Bakersfield
| | |
On Saturday, September 10, pro-life Americans throughout the country will gather at the gravesites of aborted babies and other memorial sites dedicated in their honor for the ninth annual National Day of Remembrance for Aborted Children.
Solemn vigils will be held at these sites to commemorate the more than 60 million children who have lost their lives to legal abortion since 1973, and to remind our society of the humanity of the unborn child. Please join us for the memorial service in our community.
Together let us remember the victims of abortion and pray for a final end to this injustice in our land during the National Day of Remembrance for Aborted Children.
