Ash Wednesday with Bishop Brennan


Bishop Brennan started his Ash Wednesday by enjoying the morning with friends from the community at KSEE24, CBS 47 and Fox 26.


In the afternoon, Bishop Brennan celebrated Ash Wednesday Mass at California State University, Fresno.

St. Joseph's Table: The Diocese of Fresno's Annual Mass and Charity Event

Bishop Brennan invites the Faithful of the Diocese of Fresno to join him in celebrating

St. Joseph’s Table at all weekend Masses of March 18th and March 19th, with each parish community bringing non-perishable foods to a ‘table’ honoring St. Joseph!


All donations will be delivered to local food banks, pantries and charitable organizations providing food to the poor.


We ask for your participation in this diocesan wide-event in observance of Lent! For the faithful who would like to participate, please contact your parish office or join Bishop Brennan at Holy Spirit Church in Fresno on March 19th at 10 am!

Eucharistic Revival

Eucharistic Miracles Exhibit

View the Spiritual and Inspiring Exhibit at the St. Paul Catholic Newman Center


A EUCHARISTIC MIRACLES exhibit will be on display at St. Paul Catholic Newman Center in Fresno.


Originally designed by young Blessed Carlo Acutis from Italy, the exhibit is intended to spread awareness of the EUCHARISTIC MIRACLES around the world. A display of Vatican-approved text and photographs consisting of Holy relics, and documented miracles, along with other precious items will be exhibited.


The Serra Club of Fresno in partnership with the St. Paul Catholic Newman Center will bring this phenomenal, international event to the Diocese of Fresno! What a wonderful pilgrimage during this time of the Eucharistic Revival.


Hours of the exhibit open to the public will be:

Thursday, March 16, 2023 – 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Friday, March 17, 2023 – 2:30 PM – 8:00 PM

First Holy Communion at St. Ann's Parish in Ridgecrest

On the feast day of Our Lady of Lourdes, 28 First Holy Communion students received the Sacrament of Reconciliation for the first time. Reverend Santiago Iriarte, pastor of St. Ann Church in Ridgecrest, CA, is pictured standing in front of the grotto featuring St. Bernadette and the Blessed Mother, with the students and some of their siblings.

Pictured below is Father Santiago with some of his Year 1 Confirmation students who served lunch to the First Communion students and their families.

Crime Survivors Ministry

Healing Prayer Service for Guillermo 'Memo' Leon


The Crime Survivors Ministry led a healing prayer service in Wasco on February 19, 2023 for the family and friends of Guillermo ‘Memo’ Leon who was murdered a year ago. The family members of Memo are grateful for the assistance the ministry has been providing for them since June, 2022.

To continue in their healing process, the family members are looking forward to attending another healing retreat offered for the victims of crime on June 24, 2023.
