St. Joseph's Table:
Bishop Brennan's Annual Charity Event and Mass

Bishop Brennan invites the parishes of the Diocese of Fresno to join him in celebrating St. Joseph’s Table at all weekend Masses of March 21st and March 22nd.
Each parish community is encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to a table honoring St. Joseph, which will be delivered to Catholic Charities and charitable organizations providing food to those in need.
For the faithful who would like to participate, please contact your parish office or join Bishop Brennan at Holy Spirit Church in Fresno on Sunday, March 22nd at 10:00 a.m for Mass.

Fr. Mike Schmitz visits the
Diocese of Fresno

Fr. Mike Schmitz from Ascension Press visited our Diocese last week! He was the guest speaker at the 8th Annual Kern Catholic Prayer Breakfast.
Before the prayer breakfast, he celebrated Mass with Bishop Brennan at St. Francis Catholic Church in Bakersfield.

Later that day, Garces Memorial High School welcomed Fr. Mike Schmitz to their campus!
Valley Catholics and our Catholic School students had the opportunity to participate in Eucharistic Adoration led by Bishop Brennan and hear a keynote speech from Fr. Mike.

Bishop Brennan celebrated Mass for Tết aka Vietnamese New Year at Our Lady of La Vang Church in Fresno on Sunday, March 1st!
Following the Mass, was a reception where the Vietnamese Catholic community performed traditional dances and songs to bring in the new year.

Bishop Brennan and Fr. Ivan Hernandez Melchor, Director of Vocations, recently visited our Diocesan seminarians at Mount Angel Seminary in Oregon for academic and spiritual evaluations.
We ask the faithful to please continue to pray for all our seminarians in formation.
