The Office of Vocations held their Priesthood Discernment Group Meeting at St. Mary Queen of Apostles in Fresno on Sunday, August 2nd!
Elliott Yaryk, Diocesan seminarian, shared his vocation story at the meeting with attendees who are considering the priesthood.

Grand Opening of New Classroom Buildings
Garces Memorial High School, Bakersfield

Garces Memorial High School in Bakersfield celebrated the Grand Opening of three new classroom buildings!
The school community gathered to tour the new facilities that will provide an exceptional, faith-filled learning environment for generations of Garces students.
Fr. David Lopez, Chaplain for Garces Memorial High School, blessed each of the 16 classrooms within the buildings!

Diocesan Synod Day recently took place on Saturday, July 25th!
77 Valley Catholics came together at the St. Paul Catholic Newman Center in Fresno to discuss synodality.
Bishop Brennan celebrated Mass and joined in on the Synod conversation with the faithful.
