Bishop Brennan honors our Jubilarians at the
Annual Clergy and Religious Gathering
The Diocese of Fresno's Annual Clergy and Religious Gathering was a special evening of prayer, reflection and fellowship.
Bishop Brennan led a Prayer Service at St. Mary's Church in Visalia for all clergy and religious sisters.
At the reception following the Prayer Service, Bishop Brennan honored our Jubilarians for their years of service to Valley Catholics.

Closing Mass for the Jubilee Year

The end of the Jubilee Year is fast approaching!
Valley Catholics are invited to attend a Solemn Mass for the Closing of the Jubilee Year celebrated by Bishop Brennan.
The Mass will take place on Sunday, December 28th, the Feast of the Holy Family, at St. John's Cathedral in Fresno at 3:30pm.

The KSEE24 Turkey Drive with Catholic Charities is back for its 17th year!
Bishop Brennan encourages the faithful to drop off frozen turkeys to KSEE24 studios on Tuesday, November 25th from 5:00am to 7:00pm.
Your generosity helps ensure every family can celebrate Thanksgiving with gratitude, dignity and a warm meal.
Catholic Charities, with your help, aims to provide support for at least 2,000 families who may go without a Thanksgiving meal. Every gift, big or small, helps make that possible.

100 Years of Excellence
St. Anne's School, Porterville

St. Anne’s School in Porterville proudly celebrated its Centennial Celebration: 100 Years of Excellence!
More than 300 guests gathered for an evening filled with fellowship, memories, and celebration.
The program was emceed by alumna Laura Garcia and featured heartfelt tributes from the Lombardi family (alumni family). Prayers were offered by Fr. Dan Avila, Msgr. Scott Daugherty, and Advisory Board member, Erik Santos.
Guests also heard remarks from St. Anne's School Principal, Kayla Trueblood and a special proclamation presented by Tulare County Supervisor, Dennis Townsend.
St. Anne’s School is grateful to God for 100 years of blessings and graces! They look forward to the next 100 years of excellence in faith and academics!

Students at Our Lady of Miracles School in Gustine welcomed local veterans to the campus for a Flag Raising Ceremony, prayer, and gifts of thanks.
Following the ceremony, the school joined the Annual Veterans Day Parade in downtown Gustine!

Celebrate the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe at St. John's Cathedral! All are invited to a family celebration on Thursday, December 11th at 7pm in support of St. John's ministries.

The Crime Survivors Ministry is offering a Grief and Healing Workshop for those who have lost a loved one by an act of violence.
The workshop is a six part series and begins on Saturday, January 10th, 2026 at St. John the Evangelist Church in Wasco.
