Bishop Brennan attends
Catholic Charities Annual Harvest of Hope
Bishop Brennan, President of Catholic Charities, attended the organization's Annual Harvest of Hope fundraiser in Fresno on September 14th. It was a beautiful and special evening in celebration of hope and generosity!
Bishop Brennan presented the Ministry of Presence Award to Stanley and Darlene Spano and Holy Spirit Outreach Ministry in honor of their incredible work and generosity.
Thank you to everyone who attended in support of Catholic Charities' mission to serve those in the greatest need.

Bishop Brennan invites the faithful to celebrate the Feast Day of St. Therese, the patroness saint of the Diocese of Fresno.
A veneration and Mass will be celebrated on October 1, 2024 at the Shrine of St. Therese in Fresno.

The Rite of Institution as Acolyte
Congratulations to our Diaconate Candidates
The Diocese of Fresno's diaconate candidates were instituted in the ministry of Acolyte on Saturday, September 21st, the Feast of St. Matthew.
Becoming an Acolyte marks the diaconate candidates final year of formation before, God-willing, their Ordination to the Permanent Diaconate. As an acolyte, they will serve at the altar and assist our priests and deacons throughout our parishes.
Congratulations to our diaconate candidates!
