Ministry of Lector
St. John's Seminary, Camarillo
Seminarians, Luis Meza and Jacob Valdez were instituted to the Ministry of Lector at St. John's Seminary in Camarillo recently!

Holy Hour for Vocations
National Vocation Awareness Week (Nov. 2 - Nov. 8, 2025)
This upcoming National Vocations Awareness Week, the Office of Vocations will be holding a Holy Hour to pray for an increase in vocations to the priesthood and religious life. The Holy Hour will be on Sunday, November 2nd at the Shrine of St. Therese in Fresno starting at 3pm.
Following the Holy Hour will be a reception and vocational fair at the parish hall!
Please note that the Office of Vocation's Monthly Priesthood Discernment Group Meeting scheduled for Sunday, November 2nd at Sacred Heart Church in Bakersfield is cancelled. Men in discernment are encouraged to attend the Holy Hour for Vocations.

Installation of Diaconate Candidates

Bishop Brennan celebrated the installation of 14 diaconate candidates last weekend. After completing 2 years of Aspirancy, they are now entering their Diaconate Formation Year 1. Our candidates are anticipated to be ordained in November 2028.

Photo Exhibit
St. Paul Catholic Newman Center, Fresno
All are invited to attend a Photo Exhibit hosted by the CEAC Ministry of St. Paul Catholic Newman Center in collaboration with photographer, Alicia Meza.
Opening Day: Saturday, November 8th at 4:00pm.
The exhibit will run from November 8th to November 16th during the opening hours of the St. Paul Catholic Newman Center's Campus.

All Saints and All Souls Festival
St. John's Cathedral, Fresno
Celebrate All Saints' and All Souls Day at St. John's Cathedral. The festival will be on Sunday, November 2nd from 9:00am to 3:00pm at the Singleton Hall.
Dress up as a saint to be entered into a raffle drawing! A remembrance altar will be set up for anyone who'd like to add photos of their beloved family members.
