Bishop Brennan celebrates Mass for

Sr. Lucy's 60th Anniversary

Bishop Brennan celebrated Mass and Sr. Lucy Cassarino's 60th Anniversary of her Religious Profession at St. Anthony of Padua Church in Reedley on September 14th.


Sr. Lucy arrived in Reedley 28 years ago and through her role as the principal of St. La Salle School, she has impacted many young Valley Catholics.


Please join Bishop Brennan and the Diocese of Fresno in congratulating Sr. Lucy on this incredible milestone.

Joan has faithfully served in this role for over six years and her dedication to Catholic Education extends well beyond her role as Superintendent. She will conclude her tenure on June 30th, 2026.

Bishop Brennan invites Legal Professionals and the Faithful

to the Annual Diocesan Red Mass

The Annual Diocesan Red Mass is a Catholic tradition that provides the Church an opportunity to honor and pray for the members of our legal community and elected officials.


Bishop Brennan invites the faithful and all who seek justice to the Annual Red Mass on Friday, October 17th at St. John's Cathedral in Fresno starting at 12:15pm.

The Relic Visitation of St. Therese of Lisieux

The relics of St. Therese of Lisieux are coming to the Diocese of Fresno! From October 19th to the 29th, the relics will be at St. Charles Borromeo Church in Visalia.


We ask the faithful to join us in praying for St. Therese, the patroness saint of the Diocese of Fresno.

Member of the Month

Catholic Professional and Business Club of Fresno

Chandler Marquez, Director of Public Affairs & Innovation at the Diocese of Fresno, was selected as the Member of the Month (September) for the Catholic Professional and Business Club, Fresno.


At the September meeting, Chandler spoke in front of the CP&BC members about his career and role in strengthening the voices of Valley Catholics.


Chandler was pleased to be joined by Bishop Brennan at the meeting, who was the featured speaker.


Through public relations and community engagement, Chandler works to advance Bishop Brennan and the Diocese of Fresno's mission to Proclaim the Good News.


The CP&BC is a great opportunity for professionals and young adults to network with individuals who share the same faith. Join them at their next gathering on Friday, October 10th at Pardini's in Fresno starting at 7:15am.

One Hundred Years Blessed


Sr. Mary Crucis D'Amico of the Pious Disciples of the Divine Master turned 100!


Bishop Brennan and the PDDM Fresno community celebrated her 100th birthday with Mass on September 4th.


Please join us in wishing Sr. Mary a Happy 100th Birthday!


Fun Fact: Sr. Mary was consecrated to the religious life at the age of 18 in 1944!
