Chancellor, Deacon Mark Schultz represented the Diocese of Fresno at the recent Garden of Innocence gathering at Mountain View Cemetery.
This year, the Garden of Innocence provided a dignified burial for 5 abandoned and unidentified babies (1 boy & 4 girls) who were given the names of Nathan, Violet, Faith, Amanda and Christina. They will join over 150 other infant brothers and sisters who have been previously laid to rest with respect, compassion, and kindness.
Garden of Innocence seeks to offer honorable funeral services for the most vulnerable by laying children to rest in a loving environment.

Update on the 2025 Diocesan Congress
A Message from the Office of Formation
and Evangelization Staff
Dear friends,
For over 30 years, the Office of Formation and Evangelization has been pleased to provide formation and community building through our Diocesan Congress. We are grateful for the hundreds of people who have been a part of this event, both as attendees and volunteers. We are especially grateful to the donors, sponsors and exhibitors who made it possible.
This year, the Diocesan Congress will not take place. We have decided to take a hiatus from this event to discern the best way to serve the leadership and the People of God in the Diocese of Fresno in the future.
Many blessings,
The Staff of the Office of Formation and Evangelization
