Building our Home of Spirit and Life
Divine Mercy Catholic Church, Clovis
Clovis is growing and so is Divine Mercy Catholic Church! For 13 years, Divine Mercy has been getting by with Mass in the multipurpose building at Clovis East High School, rented office space for the staff and a rented living space for their priest. However, it is finally time for Divine Mercy to make the dream of having their own home a reality. Divine Mercy needs $6 million dollars to build a worship center, convert portable buildings into usable office and classroom space and purchase a rectory.
Many years of generous giving from parishioners, a grant from the Diocese of Fresno and a sizable anonymous donation leaves Divine Mercy with $3.7 million dollars in savings to put towards these projects. They are closer than ever to reaching their goals. In order to raise these additional funds to finally complete these projects, Divine Mercy is pleased to announce the Building Our Home of Spirit & Life Campaign! This is an exciting time for the parish as they launch their campaign and are very close to breaking ground on their property! To be successful, Divine Mercy will rely on support from every family at the parish, their surrounding communities and the Faithful around the Diocese!

Ongoing Construction of Immaculate Conception Church
Ravipadu, India
It is with immense gratitude and heartfelt appreciation that we reach out to express our deepest thanks to Bishop Brennan, the Vicar General Fr. Salvador Gonzalez, the dedicated Mission office staff and the faithful of the Diocese of Fresno. Your support through the Missionary Cooperative Plan has been nothing short of a divine blessing for the Diocese of Guntur, India.
At the heart of our gratitude lies a testament of faith, embodied in the ongoing construction of the Immaculate Conception Church at Ravipadu. For 145 years, this parish has been a beacon of light, illuminating the spiritual path of its community and sister parishes alike.
The Lord, in His infinite wisdom, has selected from our community and its sister communities, 50 devoted priests and more than 50 dedicated nuns to serve in His vineyard.
As our community flourished, so did the need for a larger church. We wished for a space where every member could join in the joyous liturgical celebrations. With the help of the Diocese of Fresno and many other generous families and individuals around the world, we've taken significant strides towards making this vision a reality.
