St. Joseph's Table: FAQ

St. Joseph's Table, the Diocese of Fresno's Annual Mass and Charity Event, is coming up this month! Bishop Brennan invites all parishes to join him in celebrating St. Joseph's Table at all weekend Masses of March 16th and March 17th.

This Catholic tradition celebrates the charity of St. Joseph by inviting people to bring food for the disenfranchised and place it on a table where a statue of St. Joseph is placed.

Friday Nights at St. John's Cathedral in Fresno

Fish Fry and Stations of the Cross

Join St. John's Cathedral in Fresno for their Stations of the Cross every Friday during Lent at 6:00 pm. All are welcome to join them inside the church!

Fish Fry dinners are available for take-out on Friday (March 8th, 15th, 22nd) from 5:30pm to 7:30pm during Lent as well. Pick-up will be in the back of Singleton Hall. The Knights of Columbus will be there to guide you! Please contact Mary at (559) 498-3369 for more information.

Region XI Meeting

The Diocese of Fresno hosted the Region XI meeting of the Federation of Diocesan Liturgical Commissions (FDLC) at St. Anthony Retreat Center in Three Rivers. The group gathered from February 27-29 and enjoyed the beautiful environment at the retreat center, including a tour of Santa Teresita Youth Conference Center. Along with the usual reports from each diocese, several common issues in liturgy were discussed and a Synod process took place as well. Nine dioceses were represented!

Healing Circle and Support

for Crime Victims

Crime Survivors Ministry

The Crime Survivors Ministry held a prayer service and healing circle to provide support for the family and friends of crime victim Guillermo ' Memo' Leon last February 18, 2024 in Wasco, CA. The monthly healing circle and prayer service offered regularly by the ministry is instrumental for the families to find strength and hope in the Lord.

Please keep the ministry and the victims of crime in your prayers. A healing retreat for crime victims will be offered on June 29, 2024. To register, please contact Maciel Godburn (559) 325-688 or send an email to [email protected].
