Help Feed Hungry Families this Thanksgiving!

The 14th Annual Turkey Drive is just around the corner! Catholic Charities and KSEE24 need YOUR help to collect turkeys and thanksgiving meal box items to support families.

Donations will be collected on Tuesday, November 22nd from 5:00am - 7:00pm at KSEE24 Studios in Fresno.

If you would like to make a donation, please visit CCDOF.org and designate ‘Turkey Drive’ in the dropdown box.

Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre

You're Invited to an Afternoon in the Holy Land!

Join Bishop Brennan, Msgr. Patrick McCormick, Dame Patricia Santy and Knights&Dames of the Order for an afternoon in the Holy Land!

The Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre will take place on December 4, 2022 at Holy Spirit Church in the Logan Hall from 1:00pm-3:00pm.

You will learn about the Church of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem, enjoy Mediterranean cuisine and much more!

Coats for Kids Program in Action

Delivering New Coats to Children in Need

Thanks to the generosity of the parishioners and Knights of Columbus at Holy Spirit Church, new coats were successfully delivered to 71 children at an underprivileged elementary school in Five Points, CA!

Thank you to our parishioners of the Diocese of Fresno for continuing to support women, children and families.

Baker's Dozen Holiday Opportunity Drawing

Proceeds Raised to Help the Less Fortunate

Catholic Daughters Court St. John #2526 are holding a Baker's Dozen Holiday Opportunity Drawing to raise money for charities!

The suggested donation is $5.00 per ticket for 5 for $20.00 - there will be 13 filled gift baskets each filled with items totaling at a minimum value of $50.00 each.

Drawing will be on Sunday, Jan. 8, 2023 at 2:30pm at St. John's Cathedral in Fresno. Winners need not be present - BEST OF LUCK!

A Season of Gratitude

As we approach the Thanksgiving season, it can be a wonderful boost to our mental health, our spirits, and our hearts to engage in the practice of daily thanksgiving. Thanksgiving hymns, integrated into a month-long celebration of gratitude, can give us a powerful boost of well-being to fortify us for the busyness of the upcoming Christmas season.

Sometimes we forget that Thanksgiving is called “Thanksgiving” for a reason; it’s a time when we are meant to reflect and show gratitude on Thanksgiving Day and hopefully for some time after. In today’s world, it can be easy to get caught up in a whirlwind of complaints and negativity, but expressing thankfulness is easier than we might think.
