The Dedication of St. Charles Borromeo!

The Diocese of Fresno and Good Shepherd Catholic Parish celebrated the Dedication of St. Charles Borromeo Church in Visalia!

Congratulations to Good Shepherd Catholic Parish on the opening of their new Church with plenty of celebrations to come.

The Veneration of Relics and

Solemn Pontifical Vespers

The Veneration of Relics and Solemn Pontifical Vespers took place at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Visalia the evening before the Dedication of St. Charles Borromeo Church.

Parishioners lined up to pray over the Relics that were placed under the altar at St. Charles Borromeo.

Following the Veneration, Bishop Brennan presided the Solemn Pontifical Vespers for the Dedication of a Church.

The Annual Diocese Scout Mass

The Diocese of Fresno Catholic Committee on Scouting (DFCCS) had their Annual Scout Mass. Bishop Emeritus Ochoa was the celebrant of the Mass at St. John's Cathedral in Fresno!

Mary Immaculate Queen School, Lemoore

During Catholic Schools Week, Mary Immaculate Queen students went out to thank the community members around Lemoore.

The 2nd, 3rd and 4th graders took a walking field trip to the Lemoore Volunteer Fire Station and Post Office.

Vietnamese New Year at Our Lady of La Vang Catholic Church, Fresno

Celebrating the Lunar New Year

Our Lady of La Vang Catholic Church in Fresno celebrated the Lunar New Year with Mass presided by Bishop Brennan this past weekend! Following the Mass, was a wonderful reception filled with dancing, singing and food to bring in the New Year.

Filiae Lumena Ministry at Holy Spirit Church in Fresno

We are full of joy! On Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2023 our Lady of Lourdes Rose Garden was completed! We are so grateful to all who volunteered in creating this beautiful place dedicated to our beautiful Holy Spirit Parish Community. This will be a place where all Mother Mary's children can come to pray and feel her peace. The Dedication will take place on Monday, May 1st. More information to follow!

A World Youth Day Benefit Concert!

Join us on Saturday, February 11 at 6:30pm for a night of Catholic Folk for Catholic Folks with Catholic singer, Paul Deiss Smith III!

This is a World Youth Day Benefit Concert for the Claretian Youth High School Group at the St. Paul Catholic Newman Center.

Tickets are $20 per person!

Ash Wednesday Day of Reflection

Please join us for our 2023 Ash Wednesday Day of Reflection on February 22 from 8:00am - 4:00pm at St. Anthony Retreat Center in Three Rivers! The Eucharist provides us with our focus for this year’s season of Lent and our annual Ash Wednesday Day of Reflection.

When we hear the priest’s words, “This is the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world,” we know that we are looking upon the same Christ who suffered so much for us, who died and rose again, and who is truly and physically with us still in this beautiful sacrament.
