World Day for Consecrated Life Mass
Bishop Brennan celebrated Mass for the World Day for Consecrated Life on Sunday, February 2nd at St. Mary Queen of Apostles in Fresno!
It was a beautiful Mass in celebration of the beauty and joy of religious consecration. We ask the faithful to continue to pray for our consecrated religious men and women.

Bishop Brennan visited a few of our schools during Catholic Schools Week!
On Wednesday, he visited Mary Immaculate Queen School in Lemoore and St. Rose McCarthy School in Hanford. He visited Holy Cross Junior High to talk about vocations with the students on Thursday. On Friday, he headed over to St. Anthony's School in Fresno to celebrate their School Mass!

St. Anne's School in Porterville worked on a community service project to kick off Catholic Schools Week. They made over 35 baby baskets and donated boxes of baby wipes and diapers to a local pregnancy center!

Groundbreaking for the Priests Rectory
St. Patrick's Parish, Merced
St. Patrick's Parish in Merced held a Groundbreaking Ceremony for their new rectory!
Fr. Robert Borges, their parish pastor, led a prayer and blessed the construction site at the groundbreaking. The new rectory is intended to provide the parish priest, visiting priests and seminarians a place to reside at.

The youth groups at St. Mary's and Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Delano held a night of Adoremus on Friday, January 25th!

Santo Niño de Cebu Feast Day
St. Ann, Ridgecrest
The children of St. Ann Church in Ridgecrest participated in the Santo Niño de Cebu Feast Day. They sang in the choir, read the scripture, brought up the gifts and brought up offerings of food for the military food pantry.
After the Mass, everyone enjoyed a delicious lunch cooked by our Filipino community!

World Marriage Day Mass
Make sure to register!
The World Marriage Day Mass will be celebrated by Bishop Brennan on Sunday, February 16, 2025 at St. Charles Borromeo Church in Visalia starting at 4:00 pm. Everyone, especially couples, are invited to celebrate the sanctity of marriage at this special Mass.
