Joint Feast Celebration

St. Lucy's Church, Fowler

Bishop Brennan celebrated the Joint Feast Celebration Mass at St. Lucy's Church in Fowler in December! In honor of the Feast of St. Lucy, Bishop Brennan also blessed the statue of St. Lucy in front of the church!

20th Anniversary Celebration

Join them at the 10:30 am Mass at St. John's Cathedral in Fresno where Bishop Brennan will be the celebrant.

A luncheon will immediately follow the Mass at the Freedom Elementary School in Clovis.

New Year 2024 and Eucharistic Benediction

PDDM Fresno Community

The Sisters of the Pious Disciples of the Divine Master Fresno community, together with friends, parishioners and members of the Holy Family Institute, celebrated the New Year's Eve Adoration with Eucharistic Benediction.

It was awesome to start the New Year, singing the Christmas Gloria and participating in the Eucharistic Benediction given by Fr. Alfred Amos. Below is a picture of the manger in our chapel and of the Blessed Sacrament. This picture evokes the words of Blessed Alberione: "The Word became flesh ... the Word became bread." The manger and the Blessed Sacrament made a great impact on the faithful bidding the old year goodbye and welcoming the new year.

Diocesan Retreat Center

6-Day Silent Directed Retreat

St. Anthony Retreat Center, Three Rivers

The St. Anthony Retreat and Conference Center presents the 2024 Silent Directed Retreat. The retreat will be from January 28 - February 3, 2024!

This guided retreat will consider the spirituality of St. Charles de Foucauld (1858-1916), canonized in May 2022 by Pope Francis. His motto was: To Cry the Gospel By Our Life. Each day we will consider a Gospel passage that informs his spirituality which can be summarized as “letting Jesus live in us,” symbolized by the Heart and the Cross. He is best known for his Prayer of Abandonment: “My Father, I abandon myself to You, do with me what you will!” Daily orientation to prayer and meeting with a retreat director, together with Eucharistic celebration, will structure or days together.

Cost is $810 for the entire week
Includes a private room, all meals and daily spiritual direction
Scholarships are available

World Marriage Day

A Celebration of Marriage

World Marriage Day will be celebrated by Bishop Brennan on Sunday, February 11, 2024 at St. Charles Borromeo Church in Visalia at 3:30pm.

Couples are invited to celebrate their marriage at this special Mass! Each couple will receive a certificate and a small gift - make sure to register!

*If you register after February 4th, your certificate may not be ready on time, and will be mailed to you.

*Requested donation is $10 per couple
