Member of the Month
Catholic Professional and Business Club of Fresno
| | |
Samantha Mejia, the editor of this newsletter, recently had the honor of being nominated Member of the Month (April) for the Catholic Professional and Business Club, Fresno. The CP&BC offers a space for everyone to share their faith, network and deepen their relationship with God.
At the April meeting, Samantha spoke in front of the membership about her faith and role as the Digital Communications Strategist at the Diocese of Fresno.
Joining Samantha, was fellow Valley Catholic and friend of the Diocese, Mimi Fanucchi. As the featured speaker for the monthly meeting, she spoke about her advocacy for the unhoused.
Last year, Samantha had the wonderful opportunity to lead the way as our magazine team wrote a feature story about Mimi's journey into homeless advocacy. In case you haven't checked it out, click here!
The CP&BC is a great opportunity for professionals and especially young adults to network with individuals who share the same faith. Sit at a table, enjoy a meal and strike up a conversation with familiar faces or someone you haven't met before. Join them at their next gathering on Friday, May 9th at Pardini's in Fresno starting at 7:15am.

Prayer Time at
Red Rock Canyon State Park
St. Malachy, Tehachapi
During the season of Lent, Catholics worldwide hear about the Lord praying in the desert. In most cases, some can only imagine it if they've never had the opportunity to see a desert in their life. For the Catholics in Tehachapi, the desert is just down the hill.
Fr. Gregory Beaumont, Pastor of St. Malachy in Tehachapi, invited his parish and local Christian churches for a hike and silent prayer time at Red Rock Canyon State Park.
