Jewish history in Greece may date back as far as the Babylonian Exile and certainly to the time of Alexander the Great. As is often the case, Jewish history there is complicated; times of prosperity mixed with tragedy, ultimately overshadowed by the Holocaust. Our journey will be enhanced by Dr Mendelsohn's knowledge and stories as we explore the past, enjoy the beauty and sites of Greece, and encounter the Jewish communities of today.
