Join the 9/11 Memorial Museum and the 9/11 Tribute Center for a free workshop examining recent responses to crises, from 9/11 to Sandy. With a focus on incorporating primary sources, accounts, and objects into your classroom, this workshop will offer effective, standards-based ways to explore civic engagement and volunteerism with your students, for middle and high school teachers. A visit to the 9/11 Memorial will be offered following the session.
