What should be reported to TRS? We will start with mapping earning codes and maneuver through the processing of the monthly report, answering DSIR reports and requests for information. We will also review how to properly calculate a pro-rated salary using the SWAIM method.

Medicaid Claiming and Reporting

Claiming for reimbursement, accounting for revenue, and preparing the Annual Cost Report Medicaid Reimbursement starts with determining eligibility and ends with documenting the cost involved in serving eligible students. This workshop covers start to finish the rules, regulations (state and federal), and procedures that need to be in place to assure school districts are maximizing Medicaid revenue.

Preparing for Fiscal Year End

We will review all the items required to be ready for your annual audit and closing of your accounting records at fiscal year-end. We will also review projecting fund balance and reserve funding.
