We are finishing strong and starting the new year off with new virtual workshops.

In December, we are offering for the first time, "Assessment 101: Assessment for Positive Effect." This training builds on the understanding that assessment is a key foundation element of effective teaching. It is hands-on, practical and uses videos as tutorials with practice application. 

Participants will learn how to use data to plan, individualize, and share information with stakeholders such as parents and administrators. This self-paced learning will guide participants in understanding various quality assessment purposes. It can support other assessment and observation workshops, such as "Power of Practice," and Teaching Strategies GOLD.

We start 2021 off with "Everyday Math Plus." This session is the first time we've offered coaching with "Everyday Math," all virtually. Participants will learn how to strengthen children's natural abilities about learning math through the power of play, effective skill-building experiences, and using "math talk" in everyday experiences. In addition to the six hours of live virtual time in the workshop, participants will set a goal related to math learning and share their progress during 4 hours of small group coaching sessions.

This video provides easy ways to incorporate teach math into everyday activities.
