I'm sure it is no surprise to you that wine-based tourism is on the rise. We in Northwest live in a beautiful part of the world with many award-winning wineries right in our backyard, but there are SOO many places to visit in this world that also produce wine, and we would like to help you get there!

Napa Valley and Sonoma County have been much in our news and our hearts lately as we read about the devastating fires. But just as with the hurricanes in the Caribbean, one of the ways to help the community is to GO, visit, connect with the people there...and spend money.

Like any tourist destination, the California wine country depends on visitors for their economy, and they would like you to know that for the most part, they are Open For Business. We would love to help you plan a trip there!

The cruise industry has responded to the growth in wine tourism in excellent fashion, especially the European river cruises.
In addition to setting up regional tastings onboard, there are cruises where you can listen to local wine experts, visit local wineries, or indulge in locally sourced cuisine with wine pairings.

Of course, Celebrity Cruises remains one of our favorite cruise lines for the wine lover, with sommeliers on board in every dining room, and at least one wine event every day on every cruise. One of the agents in our office enjoyed a high-end tasting aboard an Alaska cruise this summer, given by the head sommelier aboard the Celebrity Infinity; she said it was one of the highlights of the trip.
