Message from President
 Bonnie Chapman

Greetings Soroptimists!

Why did the scientist install a knocker on her door?

She wanted to win the No-bell prize!

Our Hilarity for Charity comedy show is less than a month away! I am asking for each and every one of you to help get the word out about this fun and worthwhile event and help make it a well-attended success! Here is how you can help;

  1. Plan to attend and bring friends! SI Chico members are free and all others are just $10, a very inexpensive evening of entertainment! See the link in this eblast for tickets.
  2. A new slightly updated flier will be sent directly to all of you this week. Please email it to friends and invite them to attend.
  3. Share the event on Facebook!
  4. Invite friends to the event via Facebook invitation
  5. Put up a flier or drop a pile of mini-fliers at a place of business or a place you often patronize
  6. Tell everyone you know!
Thank-you all for your help in supporting part two of my President's Project. I really appreciate it.

It's another great week to be a Soroptimist!

With Gratitude,
Soroptimist International of Chico

TRAINING

If you are new to volunteering as a server or if you regularly participate at the Jesus Center you should attend this training.  There are some instructions for the newer system of signing in when we serve, getting your own serving number in order to sign in,  training sessions with fellow servers and meeting the new coordinator would be a good thing for those who are interested to attend. Here is an email I received from Shawna Burhans with the date and time of the training

Members that haven't volunteered yet, but are interested in being a server should attend this training as well.

Thank you,

Amy Hawes
