Today's Program: Guardian ad Litem Foundation

Our speaker today was Jessica Stanfield. This is a non-profit agency supporting Florida's 20th Judicial Circuit Guardian ad Litem Program.  A GAL volunteer becomes a court advocate, mentor, confidante, friend and most important, a consistent, caring person on whom the child can rely. The agency provides for recruitment, training, retention and support of GAL volunteer advocates that represent the best interests of abused, neglected, and abandoned children.   There are many ways to support this agency by providing experiences and things that bring normalcy to a child's life that most children take for granted.
