Program Updates
Dear Participating Contractors,

We thank you for your participation in the SoCalREN Energy Upgrade California® Home Upgrade Program and for all your hard work in helping Los Angeles County homeowners save energy. Please see below for important updates and the opportunity to provide input to help the Home Upgrade and Co-op Marketing programs wrap up successfully in 2017 and improve in 2018.

Please note that all Project Completion Forms (PCFs) and all required documentation must be submitted by midnight on December 31, 2017. Please refer to the updated Terms and Conditions located on the Program Resources page—available for download and use. 

In order to allow for enough time to validate utility service accounts and reserve new application submittals, please upload new applications (including signed homeowner Terms and Conditions and utility bills) by midnight on December 15, 2017. There will be no guarantee that applications submitted after this deadline will be reserved in time for PCFs to be submitted by December 31.

Home Upgrade End-of-Year Project Estimates Needed:
Due to the coming close of the SoCalREN 2017 Home Upgrade program year on December 31 and the September 30 reservation deadline for the Southern California Edison (SCE)/SoCalGas® and SoCalGas Energy Upgrade California® Home Upgrade programs, you may be submitting more projects than usual to the SoCalREN Program in the final quarter of this year.

To help ensure we have enough funding and resources available to meet this increased demand, we would appreciate it if you would take this short poll to project how many projects you will be reserving and completing in October, November and December this year. You may also call or email your Account Manager Linnea Hofstrom or Erin Croteau with these estimates. Please keep in mind that closing paperwork and project completion information for all projects must be submitted by December 31, 2017.

Co-op Marketing Program Update:
Thank you for your continued interest in the SoCalREN Co-op Marketing Program. The current Co-op Program is being discontinued for the remainder of 2017, and we are working hard on an entirely new program set to roll out in 2018. We are eagerly waiting for the CPUC’s decision in December 2017, which will take us all on an exciting new path with new programs, opportunities and innovation for our customers. The 2017 Program will not be accepting new applications, and all pending advertisement for the Program will need to be canceled. All approved Co-op applications (in Co-op Submission Approved status) must submit the final paid invoice and applicable design/proof documentation by October 31, 2017 to receive reimbursement.
