11:00 a.m. Amy Cavanaugh: The Importance of the Maryland Art Place (MAP)

Maryland Art Place inspires and supports contemporary artists through its innovative programs, exhibits and educational opportunities. Amy Cavanaugh, MAP’s executive director for over a decade, will share news about current working artists, MAP’s IMPACT public art projects and upcoming events.

1:15 p.m. Carrie Stickel: The Baltimore Leadership School for Young Women

The BLSYW (Pronounced “bliss”) has an empowering philosophy of whole-girl wellness that informs all that they do at the school. Hear from Director of Development Carrie Stickel about The BLSYW Way, which embodies leadership, girl power, college readiness, high expectations and a strong support network.
