Farewell Old Friend 💔

One of our very favorite furry friends will be crossing the Rainbow Bridge later this week. Turner was an original therapy dog at our first Read to a Dog, way back in April 2013. For seven years, right up to the pandemic, Turner visited us regularly on the first Saturday of each month.

Along the way, Turner made tons of friends, helped hundreds of kids become better readers, changed people's perceptions of pit bull dogs, and made all of us smile so much, so many times, throughout the years.

Gorgeous, we can never thank you enough for shining your light our way and generously sharing your glorious heart -- and goofy nature! -- with us. You will never be forgotten.

Please click here or on the collage below to see more photos of Turner and to leave a comment for his human parents, Russ and Jerilyn.
