Electoral Area Directors’ Forum agenda

The agenda for the Electoral Area Directors’ Forum is now live. Topics for discussion include social media, code of conduct, emergency management, the Heritage Conversation Act and more. 

The Forum will be held March 10-11 (Tuesday afternoon to Wednesday morning) at the Radisson Vancouver Airport Hotel in Richmond, BC. The EAD Forum provides an opportunity to explore challenges common to electoral areas and identify potential solutions. The conference is open to electoral area directors and their alternates, regional district chairs and regional district staff. Read more.

LGLA Forum program focused on ‘Finishing strong’

The preliminary program for the 2026 LGLA Leadership Forum taking place in Richmond, March 11–13, is now available. The 2026 theme, Finishing Strong: Legacy, Leadership & What Comes Next, invites participants to reflect on the culmination of their term, honour their accomplishments and prepare for transitions ahead. “Finishing strong” is about more than closing a chapter: It’s about stewarding resources wisely, strengthening relationships, capturing the stories that define your leadership and shaping a legacy that lasts.
