Manlius teen Nick Ziobro to open for Marissa Mulder at March 10 Van Heusen 100th birthday bash
Nick Ziobro, winner of Michael Feinstein's 2012 Great American Songbook Vocal Competition and a junior at Fayetteville-Manlius High School, will open for New York City singer and Syracuse native Marissa Mulder at CNY Jazz Central's Van Heusen 100th Birthday Bash. The performance, the third in CNY Jazz's 2012-13 Cabaret Series, will be March 10 at the Sheraton Syracuse University Grand Ballroom. Doors open at 4 p.m., Ziobro will take the stage at 5 p.m., and headliner Mulder will begin her hour-long show at 6 p.m. Tickets are $25 in advance, $30 at the door, and $12 for students with ID. People who buy advance $25 admission will receive a CNY Jazz Club Discount Card good for 10 percent off food and drink for this cabaret and all remaining events of the CNY Jazz 2012-2013 Season. Sheraton SU will offer a cash bar and menu at affordable buffet stations. All attendees will receive validated parking in the Sheraton SU garage. Learn more about Ziobro at his website.
