Innovative remodeling ideas for homeowners & friends of Progressive Builders
Spring Into Action

The wonders of Spring is all around us—signaling the start of a new season with changing colors, longer days and warmer weather. In the fast-paced world we live in, nature has a wonderful way of reminding us to slow down and rejoice in the changing of the season—observe its colors, beauty, and its magic. Spring also evokes feelings of ‘rejuvenation,’ ‘renewal,’ and ‘rebirth.’

Speaking of ‘rebirth,’at Progressive Builders, we’ve had a type of ‘revival’ of our own. We have spent the past few weeks enthused and motivated to implement changes in our company that will help us continue to improve and accelerate our growth. By attending an Advance One Day Leadership Conference in March, we experienced a fun, practical and interactive day of training that focused on helping us build a foundation for success.

The first week in April, we also participated in an exclusive 4-day Remodelers Advantage meeting that tapped into the expertise of top remodeling experts from around the country in an effort to improve our company performance. As a high-end, luxury design/build remodeling firm, it’s these efforts to stay on top of technology and innovation that aid in our ability to continually improve your home remodeling experience. We are embracing change and loving it!

As we excite in the magical changes of the season, we hope you reach out to us if you’re looking for a change of your own—in particular, a newly remodeled home. Whether you’re looking for a creative way to add much needed space or update, refresh and modernize a favorite room, we are happy to share our design ideas. Don’t miss out on an opportunity to get started right away.

Wishing you a happy new season!
Countertop Consideration: Quartz vs. Granite
If you read reviews, you’ll find that homeowners across the internet are split into two factions: those who prefer granite countertops, and those who can’t live without quartz.

Take a step back from the rhetoric, though, and they all have one thing in common: Everyone loves their stone countertops. As with most materials, however, the appeal of granite versus quartz boils down to personal taste. That said, it’s important to be informed.

Consider these important differences before you pick a side—Appearance, Durability, Installation, Care and Maintenance, Cost, and Environmental Impact.

Introducing Progressive Innovation: More Than an Ordinary Family Room Addition
This Bonita Bay home, located in a 2,400-acre gated community with 1,400 acres of parks, nature preserves, lakes and open spaces, is an ideal location for this retired couple. They loved everything about their home—the neighborhood, yard, and the distance to shopping areas. But, one vital amenity was lacking—a spacious family room. The clients needed a new space to read and showcase their treasured artwork. Building a first-floor addition was the perfect solution to upgrading their living conditions. As the project evolved, they also added a built-in book case/entertainment wall.

With minimal disruption to existing space and to the family, who lived in the home throughout the remodeling project, Progressive Builders was able to dig up a small section of the front yard, in the area where the addition would sit. We then installed a new foundation and constructed the walls and roof of the addition before opening up the existing exterior wall and linking the new and old spaces.

As an avid supporter, Progressive Builders is participating again this year on Saturday, April 29th at Lakes Park from 10AM to 10 PM. We will have a booth set up and we will be selling goodies to help raise money to fight cancer. Our goal is to raise $5000. Please stop by and visit us.
