Students, Parents and Chaperones,
 
Our prayers and thoughts go out to all those affected by this unprecedented pandemic. 
 
We have been in close communication with your school’s administration as this situation evolves.
 
As we all are aware, our wonderful city will be affected greatly, specifically, in regards to our reliance on the travel and hospitality industry. In that same regard, tour companies alike, are devastated by this outbreak. Our staff plan and prep all year long for our travel season which runs between March and May.

As a Vegas resident and a small business owner, I know all too well the fear and uncertainty that many of you are feeling. That being said, Project Exploration has provided unforgettable student travel experiences for over 43 years and we are determined to survive this! 
 
We are aware that some tour companies are NOT refunding any of their travelers payments and others have $500 cancellation fees. We are determined to make this right for you and your family as best we can. 

Here are the options available to our travelers:
 
Option 1-  If you choose to cancel at this time we will process an initial refund of 50% of funds paid towards that trip. We will then process additional refunds as we receive refunds back from our vendors, (charter buses, hotels, airlines, destinations etc). Most vendors are setting our refund window at 4-6 weeks. We are also applying for federal relief funds for travel and tour companies that will aid in these efforts as well. 

*Please expect that refund to be processed in 1-2 weeks. 

Refund request information needed:
School Name, Trip Name, Student First and Last Name, last 4 digits of the card used. If an alternate payment method was used, please provide an updated mailing address.
 
Option 2-  100% of the money paid toward your trip can be used as a trip voucher, and will be applied to your student’s field trip next year. 
 
Thank you for your patience and understanding in these trying times and be assured that although this may take time; I will personally see to it that we take care of each and every one of our customer, and we will continue to provide amazing exploration opportunities for students in the Las Vegas area.
