Modern Steader has redefined edible education
Our mission is to bring edible education to every single student K-12. The Edible Learning Lab is how we plan to do just that. Our interactive Edible Learning Labes  allow kids to manage the food production process from "Lab to Table". Growing food from seed expands their understanding of core academic concepts, fosters a deeper understanding of the food production process, and helps kids hone the skills to transform what they've grown into nourishing meals.

The Edible Learning Lab is an excellent venue for teaching patience and teamwork where kids discover self-confidence and learn about nutrition, ecology, conservation, math, biology, chemistry, and more.
We support our Labs with everything needed to bring edible education into the classroom.

The full program includes: 8 Stations, 115 Lessons, and 250+ Supporting Articles, Podcasts and Teaching Aids.
