This GivingTuesday, we're celebrating the incredible impact our students have on their schools and communities.
With the help of Project Green Schools programs, our students are driving sustainable practices and policies, creating meaningful school and community projects to tackle local and global environmental challenges, and inspiring their peers to take action.

Project Green Schools was thrilled to team up with the Green Sports Alliance, the New England Patriots, and Kraft Sports and Entertainment for CNN's Call to Earth on November 5th!
Together, we hosted the inaugural Sports & Sustainability Career Day at Gillette Stadium, an event designed to empower students and young leaders to explore careers at the intersection of sports, sustainability, and innovation.

Our Green Schools Society students logged more than 21,000 hours of environmental service and education this year!
Kudos to our Green Schools Society chapters leading with the most hours in 2025! Landmark Christian School (GA) logged the most hours, with a total of 7,957 hours submitted. Lake Nona High School (FL) logged a total of 1,458 hours. Rick Reedy High School (TX) logged a total of 1,391 hours.

Our National Youth Council members have not only been engaging in high-level environmental discussions this year, but also leading them!
From speaking at the Green Difference Awards in Washington, D.C., and the 9th NYC Green School Conference in New York City to leading their own Climate Week NYC event, our National Youth Council members have truly shown the power of youth environmental stewardship and leadership in 2025.

This year, Project Green Schools was proud to present Austin Waldorf School with the $10,000 Grand Prize to bring their outdoor classroom vision to life!
Through our Outdoor Classroom Challenge program, Project Green Schools aims to empower schools to create vibrant and engaging outdoor learning spaces that inspire students and deepen their connection with nature. Applications for our 2026 Outdoor Classroom Challenge are open now.
