Project Management Fundamenatals
A CT Transportation Leadership Program ELECTIVE Workshop
In this course, we will focus on applying, practicing and developing fundamental project management skills. Through lecture and group discussion, participants are introduced to fundamental  project management tools, techniques and concepts. Participants will then have the opportunity to practice and develop these skills by going through the steps of planning and managing a realistic public works project using a group exercise.
Course Instructor 

Robert McGarry has been a project manager for government and private organizations. He has managed a variety of projects including IT projects, human resources projects and procurement projects. For the past nine years Bob taught project management to state managers. Bob is a graduate of the U.S. Coast Guard Academy with a degree in civil engineering.
