Great job by the entire Founder's Hall construction team, an in-person visit by a customer speaks volumes about the quality of work performed!
Volunteers Needed
Put those construction skills to good use!
We're down to our last two Saturdays to get our float built in time for the Rutland Halloween Parade on October 30, 2021.
Can You Help Us?
As we get down to the wire, we could really use some extra hands to help us finish our float - especially those of you with construction skills!
We'll be finishing our float on the following days:

Saturday, October 16:
7:00 - 10:00 am

Saturday, October 23:
7:00 - 10:00 am

Location:
Casella Waste, Belden Road, Rutland
If you can help, please just show up. If you have any questions, please contact Nicole Webster.
Hope to see you there!
Safety Topic: Slips, Trips and Falls
Slips and trips can occur at any time, for different reasons, and can cause severe injuries - or even fatalities.
A Recent Near Miss
Last week we had a near miss when an unsecured load being moved by a contractor fell and rolled down a hill towards an area where work was being done. Quick communication over the radio allowed everyone to get out of the way in time, preventing any injury from occurring.

Shortly after this incident, the contractor was asked to strap their load; the site also developed a plan to use air horns in the event this were to happen again.

If you have suggestions about how to make jobsites more safe and/or efficient, please share them. The best place for us to get information is from those who perform the tasks every day.
Thank you for staying aware of your surroundings, and keeping an eye out for yourself and others on jobsites.
