The Bennington County Street Sewer Upgrades Project started on Benmont Ave., replacing the sewer main utilizing bypass pumping and will be moving on to County Street shortly.
Great job by this entire crew!
People are usually quick to speak up when they are unhappy about something, but it takes a certain level of admiration to prompt a phone call to deliver praise. Excellent work, team! Thank you for representing us so well!

Safety Topic: Hand Safety
Work-related hand injuries are one of the leading reasons for emergency room visits and missed time at work. Damage to the nerves in your fingers and hand can negatively affect not just your ability to work, but all aspects of your life. Protect yourself by wearing gloves when working with sharp objects, or to keep your hands warm and prevent frostbite.
Pay attention to pinch points when securing trailers, and keep your hands clear while closing them. Keep guards on machinery or power tools. If any tool or piece of equipment displays signs of wear or damage, avoid use and follow lock out procedures, if necessary.
