Meet the Contractor

Meet the contractor for the 198th Avenue project at an open house, 5-7 p.m. Thursday, April 4, at Edwards Place, 4375 SW Edwards Place.

Staff from Washington County, the contractor and the design consultant will answer questions. No formal presentation is planned; stop by any time during open house hours

About the project

This project will widen 198th Avenue, between Farmington Road and TV Highway, to three lanes (one lane in each direction and a center turn lane).

Additional improvements include:

Continuous bicycle lanes and sidewalks
Safety enhancements at all intersections
Street lighting
Storm drainage upgrades
Culvert crossing upgrades
Roadway geometry improvements
