What's Happening 

Throughout the month of June, construction crews will continue to install underground utilities and advance on sidewalk improvements within the active work zone. The underground improvements, consisting of new water main, drainage, and sanitary sewer systems from Lincoln Road to 17 Street, are mostly in place.

Final connections for new water lines will proceed once the necessary Department of Health regulatory certifications are obtained. As the underground utilities advance, crews will soon shift to above‑ground work, including new sidewalks, lighting, landscaping, and irrigation.


Both crosswalks at the intersection of Lincoln Road and Meridian Avenue will be open to pedestrians during FIFA 2026 World Cup activities this summer.

What to Expect

Sidewalks, pedestrian access, and entrances to all businesses will remain open and accessible throughout the duration of the project. Access to public city parking lots will also be maintained at all times via entrances not located along Meridian Avenue. Valet and ride-share operations will continue without interruption at Meridian Avenue and Lincoln Lane South.
