Project Overview

This construction project will replace the aerial water and sewer main crossings on the Causeway, which run along the north and south sides of the Venetian bridges. The pipes are in poor condition and ranked first in the prioritized list of critical assets for the Water & Sewer Renewal and Replacement Report.

The work includes installing four new water mains and two new sewer mains using horizontal directional drilling (HDD) to replace the existing lines connecting San Marco, San Marino, Di Lido, Rivo Alto, and Dade Boulevard. Once completed, the upgraded system will provide the increased flow capacity needed to support the city’s growing demand.
