FOXCONN IN RACINE COUNTY: 2018 IN REVIEW
Since Foxconn Technology Group’s first $60 million investment in Racine County in December 2017, there has been incredible progress on site in the Village of Mount Pleasant as well as throughout the State of Wisconsin. Take a look at this timeline for a recap of major milestones from 2018.

With initial site work completed, the campus’ first building ready for occupancy and more vertical construction planned for Spring, 2019 is set to bring more opportunity to Racine County.

"SMART CITIES SMART FUTURES" COMPETITION WINNERS
Recently, Foxconn Technology Group announced the 88 first-round winners of its "Smart Cities — Smart Futures" competition during an event at Carthage College.

The 88 winners will proceed to the second round of the competition.

The initiative, which encourages the sharing of fresh ideas and unconventional thinking, saw the highest share of entrants suggest ideas in the energy and environment category.

MID-AMERICA ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL NAMES FOXCONN'S INVESTMENT 'DEAL OF THE YEAR'
Foxconn's $10 billion advanced manufacturing campus project in Racine County has been named the 2018 Economic Impact Deal of the Year by the Mid-America Economic Development Council, an association of economic development professionals in 12 states dedicated to advancing regional economic development programs.

The award recognizes projects with a significant impact on a city, county and region as measured by capital investment, jobs, supplier network, economic impact or new partnership initiatives that positively improved the community.

FOXCONN COMPLETES PURCHASE OF EAU CLAIRE, GREEN BAY BUILDINGS
Foxconn Technology Group closed on office space purchases in Eau Claire and Green Bay. In total, the purchases represent a nearly $12 million investment in the Wisconsin cities.

Foxconn plans to use the space in both locations as innovation centers, which are intended to expand the company's network throughout the state and spur innovation and foster talent.

INVITATIONS TO BID ON WORK ASSOCIATED WITH THE FOXCONN PROJECT
The invitation to bid for Bid Release 3C - Electrical Substation has been revised to align with the anticipated scope and design of the power substation building. As a result, there have been slight modifications to the scope of work packages.
