VILLAGE OF MOUNT PLEASANT ACCEPTS PROPERTY OWNER OFFERS
The Village of Mount Pleasant Board of Trustees voted on Monday to accept offers from more than a dozen Village of Mount Pleasant property owners. The accepted offers represent a total of roughly 300 acres of land within the Foxconn project area.

"This approval means we will soon have almost 70 percent of the land within the Foxconn area under ownership," said Dave DeGroot, Mount Pleasant Village President. "This is great news as we plan for a groundbreaking and look forward to continued growth and development within the project area."

These new properties will bring the Village's total acquired acreage to more than 2,000 of the roughly 2,900 acre total Foxconn area.
