WisDOT PUBLIC INVOLVEMENT MEETING
SET FOR THURSDAY
This Thursday , March 15, from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at Mount Pleasant Village Hall , the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) will host a public involvement meeting to share updated plans for the development roads in and around the Foxconn development site. DNR CONTINUES TO ACCEPT WRITTEN COMMENTS ON RACINE WATER DIVERSION APPLICATION
The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) held a hearing last week regarding the City of Racine's Lake Michigan water diversion application. Ahead of the hearing, Foxconn issued a statement on environmental sustainability .

WISCONSIN POLICY FORUM HOSTS PANEL ON FOXCONN'S IMPACT ON TRANSPORTATION
On March 5, the Wisconsin Policy Forum hosted a panel discussion on Foxconn's impact on Wisconsin transportation. Racine County Executive Jonathan Delagrave spoke on the panel. He was joined by Representative Jason Fields, Tim Sheehy, president of the Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce, and Craig Thompson, executive director of the Transportation Development Association of Wisconsin.

DEGROOT AND DELAGRAVE TO SPEAK AT CARTHAGE COLLEGE
Kenosha's Carthage College is hosting a series of discussions on Foxconn and it's potential impact on the state economy, local communities and more.

On March 14, Racine County Executive Jonathan Delagrave will join a panel to explore how the Foxconn facility will impact local governments, change the landscape, and catalyze growth in skilled manufacturing.

On March 21, Mount Pleasant Village President Dave DeGroot will join a panel to explore how governments make their locales well suited for both local and international business.
UPCOMING DATES / MEETINGS
On March 20 at 5:00, the Community Development Authority will hold a public hearing at Mount Pleasant Village Hall to consider the proposed redevelopment plan for the Foxconn project area. You can view the proposed plan here .
