Thank you, Nadiyah!
Nadiyah Vance interned with Project W this past spring as part of her MSW degree program at West Chester University. Nadiyah helped to increase awareness of our grant program, resulting in a 50% increase in the number of grant applications. She also made significant contributions to our social media and DEIA efforts. Her semester-long research on Community Needs Profile of Delaware County was presented in May to members and guests. We wish you the best and thank you for your contribution to Project W!
Honoring Delco Lives Lost to COVID
Former Project W member, Barbara Smith, is helping lead The DelcoPA Covid Quilt project to honor the lives of Delaware County residents who have passed away because of the pandemic. To learn more or if you would like to participate, click HERE, or on the button below to visit their website.

Member Spotlight
Kaitlin Fagan
Kaitlin Fagan is the chair of the Women Connect Series, an educational and social program for Project W members. A member since 2021, Kaitlin is a speech pathologist providing early intervention in Philadelphia. One highlight of Project W for her was to see Tyler Arboretum receive a grant last June and then participating in a volunteer project at the Arboretum in September. Kaitlin feels "with Project W, I know that my financial contribution and manhours make a difference. I am a part of the solution in my immediate community." She also shares what she likes about the Women Connect Series..."During the Women Connect Series meetings, I learn from the presenters' content and from fellow members' lived experience. Together, in a judgement free space, we educate and engage each other. While the series addresses complex topics and current events, it also serves as a platform for socialization with members. I especially valued that during times of stricter Covid measures."

If you would like to work with Kaitlin or have suggestions for the Women Connect Series, email her at ksbfagan@gmail.com.

Thank you, Kaitlin!

Less than 8 cents of every dollar given through organized philanthropy in America is targeted to women. Women can have a significant impact by pooling our resources and recognizing organizations that make a difference for women in Delaware County. In the process, YOU will be in the fellowship of other community-minded women and learn more about the many organizations that enrich and improve our daily lives.
