Prom was lots of fun! The evening was a rite of passage with all its color and music celebrating our diversity.
As our young people showed up, each dressed to the 9s, we all marveled at how much they have grown up. The challenges of the year seemed to melt away for just this little while. We revelled together, dancing and laughing, celebrating the time in sparkly ensembles. The location staff commented about how polite and kind students were as they interacted with them. It brought a big smile.
We all needed this evening of revelry - to see and feel the joy amidst friends, teachers and students holding community. We will bid them all a sweet 'hasta luego' and we know that we will hold them for long after they step into the next part of their personal odysseys.
